That’s sweet of you anyway. I hope she’s not lonely, too – but that’s an assumption extroverts tend to make about introverts – we CRAVE nights in alone, doing our own little things, and get annoyed when the phone rings.
Some men (and women) are happy as an island. I don’t know how they can do it. But yeah, I remember having a neighbor like that in college. He usually spent his time alone in his room, door closed, avoiding eye contact with anyone when he’d step out to the cafeteria or the bathroom. I almost thought about inviting him to join me and some friends at the time to hang out. But I never did. I feel kind of bad about that. Then came a night when I passed by his room and there was some laughing coming from behind his door. I later found out that they were some friends from his hometown. It’s kind of weird, but I was rather relieved and happy to know that he did have people in his life.
Just sat and read through all yr comics. Really enjoyed them all. Sorry I can’t think of anything clever/funny to say to demonstrate my sincerity. You’ll just have to take me word for it.x
I really like the hatching on this one,

I know exactly what you mean.

Another good one.
This is so sweet! D,: I agree about the hatching–it works really well here to define another value.
Beautiful. It reminds me of classic Tomine.
I love this comic. Now one of my favourite Ellerbisms!
I thought this was really insightful, discerning and moving.
Lovely strip. Introvert or extrovert, the idea of total isolation isn’t one I’d wish on anybody…

I really liked that. Cheers!
(Don’t suppose you ever sell the original art for your Ellerbisms?)
Matt: They’re all in my sketchbooks, so I can’t take them out. I would consider doing prints though if you were interested?
I would be very interested in a print of that one in particular. I’ll email you.
