You know, this is the third person I know who’s Grandad has died this month. I don’t know what I’d do if my Grandad went. I think about it all the time and t always upsets me just thinking about it. Bloody hope you’re ok
That feeling, feeling home when you look into your beloved’s eyes… It’s so amazing, somehow i think that the day you know that feeling is when you begin to live. Much better when you also know that you’re gonna care for someone and make yourself his or her home too… That’s the key, whether you get married or not.
I love your diary, it makes me think of many things about culture y’know? I met a swedish guy once and he told me he had fallen in love with my country (Uruguay) because in Sweden everybody was so cold, he had moved alone when he was 18 and barely saw his parents from then on, and nobody visits you without previous arrangement… Here it’s soooo different! But following your diary just makes me think that no matter our cultural differences, we’re western youngsters, we’re so much alike!
Ok, I’ve written too much…
Anna: we have a saying here that goes “¿Quién te quita lo bailado?” (literally: who can take away from you what you’ve already danced?) it means that no matter what, nothing will ever take away from you the moments you had before.
Aw man, that’s so sad, & I’m sorry to hear. You’ve done such a great job conveying the weight of relationships, both to your partner & family. It has to be difficult to do these comics, but I really appreciate how you can use this medium to connect with people. Thanks for sharing part of yourself with everyone!
Ever since you’ve started drawing on the A4 size notebooks, I’ve really enjoyed how you’ve been making more room for text describing your thoughts and emotions. These will be a real treat to read in the next collection.
Hi! I haven’t been reading long. I’m trying to figure out what I like so much about your comic. I guess it’s hard to do an everyday/slice of life journal comic that’s engaging, and not self indulgent, and you’re really good at it.
This strip was moving, sorry about Anna’s granddad
Isn’t it hard to show such personal things about your real life and Anna’s to the whole world? Not sure I’d be comfortable with it. But again, you do it very well.
Marc, I really wish it wasn’t such a pain in the ass to import comics or if I could find any of your stuff in a comic store here in Brazil. Importing brings taxes and the comics get really pricy. And I’ve searched the stores and I couldn’t find any Chloe Noonan mini for sale, or even the ‘bisms, oh well. And they’re talking about globalization, huh?
Rafael, you can always order directly from me if you have Paypal? Do you use Amazon, because they can always ship out Love The Way You Love to you if you do?
I am looking at the idea of digital comics- like a ebook collection of Ellerbisms and some sorta PDF pack of Chloe Noonan, so maybe something like that would help?
Marc, I think I can make a paypal account, it would be nice if you were kind enough to SIGN and ship the books, haha!
Plus, thinking about the PDF pack, it would be brilliant but I’m afraid people would pirate your material. Think about that before you start putting it online.
You need to marry that girl it is pretty clear you two are more in love then cadwell is with vimto and that is saying something

Oh.. you guys… One day I hope to find someone who loves me as much as you love her. Love these kinda of ‘bisms <3
(There's a lot of love in this comment)

Hey Welland! If only I could marry Vimto, I would. I bloody would.
Marc, this is such a strong comic for too many reasons to note here, superb work.
And Anna, you’re the strongest lady I know.
beautiful strip, man
Really good work. Great choice of words in this, I think.

I was going to say – it’s the kind of comic that makes you feel almost like you know the people in it. Sorry if that sounds stalkerish, heh heh.
I <3 Anna but Anna <3 Marc and Marc <3 Anna and Marc is kinda cute. I'm in the wrong love triangle

You did it again. Brilliant bism! Hugs to both of you!
