I love Los Campesinos! I really do. I am quietly obsessed about them yet I can’t really articulate why I love them so much. But I just do. Their agnsty-twee-scuzz-indie-spazz-pop gives my entire body a happy.
There’s not really many great videos of Sweet Dreams Sweet Cheeks so below is the best of the bunch but it’s still kinda not The Best. They have a new album due soon called Romance Is Boring (which you can legally listen to here) and you would be wise to invest in it and all of their albums. Kieron Gillen once said that I am “in many ways a lot like a Los Campesinos! record” and I couldn’t agree more.

Although I don’t know about the music, I should say you should never be ashamed of kicking leaves, especially when they’ve been piled up in a nice tidy pile!!
I know what you mean about finding it difficult to articulate your LC! love… I always think of them as an acquired taste that I just happen to be in tune with, but love them so much that I have to play them to everyone… So I’m always a bit surprised when everyone I play them to loves them!
My favourite line for accidentally shouting out loud as I walk is “We kid ourselves there’s future in the fucking, but there is no fucking future!” It can be a bit embarrassing.

Found your site via the LC! link and I love it. I’ve read through the whole archive in the past 2 days and now I’m really looking forward to Monday’s update.
