We watched a directors cut of Empire Records a while back and there was so much useless shit added, it killed all of my previous love for it. And for ages I thought Rex Manning was real.
Yeah, the “special” “extended mix-tape” (or whatever its called) of Empire Records is awful. Like they were using alternate takes of scenes just for the hell of it. There’s no way you can fault the original – endlessly quotable.
